"The Shower Monitor was easy to install and works flawlessly. It immediately caught the attention of my two teenagers (both shower hogs) and we had an active discussion concerning the setup parameters. Most importantly they bought into the idea of trying to finish their showers before the timer runs out and the alarm sounds. The only concession I had to make was to allow a slightly higher temperature than your default setting, we agreed on keeping the rest of your defaults. I am the keeper of the code so no changes can be made without another family discussion. The acid test came this morning when both teens had to shower before school. This morning went smoother than any weekday morning in recent memory. One teen tried the military shower method, turning off the water to soap up, and then he luxuriated in the warm flow of water for the rest of his allotted time. When the timer sounded he shut off the water. The other teenager took a straight shower and proudly announced at the breakfast table that he finished his shower with two bars remaining on the timer! Your device is not dependent on a heavy flow of water. Your device actually encourages a very modest flow of water. Your continuous visual display reminds the shower user to keep things moving along - they buy into the idea of an efficient shower. Your Shower Monitor is visually well designed - it looks cool with easily understood graphics and user interface. Hopefully you are in a position to ramp up production when demand takes off -I can see no reason why you won't be in maximum production mode for years to come. Congratulations on designing a successful product." |

"Thanks you for the Shower Monitor. It’s very interesting getting the information from it, and the whole family has turned quite competitive! We seem to be using 6 -7 LPM, and the males in the family seem to have hotter but shorter showers, 42deg, while the ladies have cooler but longer showers, 37deg. Nobody wants to be guilty of making the monitor beep! Once again, thanks very much." |

"I am the mother of two girls and they spent lots of time in the shower. It wasn't uncommon for my daughters each to spend 20-30 minutes in the shower a day. We were constantly running out of hot water and we had high power bills. My husband being a keen cyclist would get very annoyed when he returned from riding to no hot water for a shower! It also proved expensive to have to constantly keep heating the hot water from cold. I spotted the "Shower monitor" at The Star Home Show and purchased it with the aim of limiting my girl’s shower times to seven minutes. I installed it as instructed, which took about 10 minutes. I set it up for seven minute's for each shower as shown in the instructions. Easy! Wow, I cannot believe how my girl’s shower times have been reduced. They responded from day one and as soon as the alarm goes off they get out. It's fantastic! An added bonus has been the feature to measure water usage. When installed our original shower rose was consuming 15 litres of water per minute! I had no idea we had such an inefficient shower rose. I have since purchased a new more efficient shower rose and our shower now uses only 9 litres of water per minute and it seems to have the same pressure! So the result has been decreased hot water usage from my girls and then we have made further savings with the new shower rose installed and of course, we have never run out of hot water since I installed it. A top product and the best investment I have made in keeping harmony in my house! For once even my husband has to agreed that this has been a great investment!" |

"We installed a Shower Monitor. All our bathroom squabbles are behind us. Our power bill is well down and everybody is getting a hot shower every day. The funny thing is nobody in our family realized how much time they were wasting in the shower until we installed the Shower Monitor. Now we know how long we have been in the shower and how much time we have left. The Shower Monitor was a great investment in both money terms and in improving family life." |

"The Shower Monitor is helpful as the time is displayed on the screen. It is also helpful in that it gives me an idea of how hot the water is and how long I have been in the shower. Overall the Shower Monitor has greatly decreased my shower duration as I want to get out before the time runs out. The Shower Monitor is a great idea and a helpful piece of technology."

"I like taking my time in the shower but, as a student, I'm concerned about the cost on my power bill. Using the Shower Monitor to adjust the flow and temperature I can still take a decent shower, but in a more energy efficient way." |

"My first thoughts were my wife is going to kill me for fitting a Shower Monitor to our shower, control her shower time! But it doesn’t work like that and she has been praising it for helping her with her time management. With a 16 month old boy in the house and swim and play groups etc to attend, time is always running out. By having the time displayed you can keep a check on the time and if you finish your shower before the time limit is reached you feel you have been cleaned, saved money and arrived on time to the next appointment! With having a wetback on our fire and the water temperature is always going up and down depending what we’re burning and how long, the temperature gauge on the Shower Monitor works great. You can set the temperature to how you like it. One of our showers has no marks on it (chrome sort) so there’s no guessing involved and wasting hot water while you find the correct temperature. Our power bills with two adults and 16 month old baby have dropped by 12%, we expect to save even more in the summer months when the wetback system on the fire is off. I could see that all electric homes with bigger families would make even bigger savings. The Shower Monitor is easy to fit and works right out of the box. The battery save system only turns on the display when water is flowing through the shower, a quality piece." |
